If you press the Del
key, whilst one or more segments is selected in the Detail, this dialog appears.
If you press Segments, then the segment metadata is deleted from the project. If you press Parameters, the segment's parameters are deleted from the project. If you press Signal, the signal addressed by this segment is deleted (the rest of the sound file is left untouched).
If you are deleting a segment from a segment list, then you can also choose to delete the reference (press Reference). The segment is not deleted from the sound file's metadata. If you refresh the list (F9), the segment will reappear.
