Transport Layer Protocols
The S_TOOLS-STx ip item supports the TCP/IP transfer protocols TCP and UDP.
Application Layer Protocols
The S_TOOLS-STx ip item supports the following three application layer protocols:

- S_TOOLS-STx IP Data protocol
- ASCII / Unicode
