Context Menu (Overview)

The Overview context menu is dependent on the selected item.

Link

Open
Open the linked document or run the linked application.
Edit
Edit the link's properties.
Delete
Delete the link from the DataSet.
Copy
Copy the selected DataSet element to the STx internal clipboard.
Cut
Cut the selected DataSet element into the STx internal clipboard.
Paste
Paste the element last copied or cut to the internal clipboard in the selected element.
Copy Filename
Copy the document, program name and path or arguments saved in the link.
Back in history
Go back to the previously viewed file.
Forward in history
Go to the next file in the file history. You will have to have gone back first!

Sequence

Play
Play the whole sequence.
Add
Add a segment, signal, remark, script or link to the sequence.
Edit
Edit the sequence's properties.
Delete
Delete the sequence from the project. Generate signals are deleted, whereas signals existing on file are not.
Copy
Copy the selected project element to the STx internal clipboard.
Cut
Cut the selected project element into the STx internal clipboard.
Paste
Paste the element last copied or cut to the internal clipboard in the selected element.
Copy Attributes
Copy a selection of attributes from the selected element to the system's clipboard.
Import
Import a sequence from an XML file.
Export
Export a sequence to an XML file.
Show
Switch Detail View.
Export to Sound File
Export the sequence to a sound file.
Back in history
Go back to the previously viewed file.
Forward in history
Go to the next file in the file history. You will have to have gone back first!

Set

Add
Add a new base element to the set.
Edit
Edit the set's properties.
Delete
Delete the set and all it's children from the project.
Copy Attributes
Copy a selection of attributes from the selected element to the system's clipboard.
Import
Import a project file as children of this set.
Export
Export this element and all it's children as a project file.
Show
Switch Detail View.
Back in history
Go back to the previously viewed file.
Forward in history
Go to the next file in the file history. You will have to have gone back first!

Sound File

Play
Plays the whole sound file (Signal.All).
Add
Add a segment (ASeg) or a Link to this soundfile.
Edit
Edit this sound file's properties.
Remove from Project
Remove this sound file and all it's segments and parameters from the project. Note that this does not remove the wave file from disk.
Copy
Copy the selected project element to the STx internal clipboard.
Cut
Cut the selected project element into the STx internal clipboard.
Paste
Paste the element last copied or cut to the internal clipboard in the selected element.
Copy Attributes
Copy a selection of attributes from the selected element to the system's clipboard.
Import
Import sound file metadata (segments and parameters) from the associated XML or SD0 file (XML file takes precedence if both exist).
Export
Export the sound file's metadata to it's associated XML file (stxsm) or export a project containing just this sound file.
Show
Switch Detail View.
Sound file
You can rename, move (Rename/Move) or copy (Copy) a sound file on the file system. Both of these commands copy the sound file's associated metadata file too.
Template
Lists all available segment templates. Select Manage to open the ASegTemplate Management Dialog and import and export segment templates from the STx INI file.

STXDataSet

Add
Add a base element as a child of the STXDataSet element.
Edit
Edit the root element's attributes.
Delete
Remove all elements in this DataSet.
Copy Attributes
Copy the elements attributes to the clipboard. See Copy Attributes for more details.
Import
Import a DataSet from file into the STXDataSet element.
Export
Export the whole DataSet to file. This can later be imported.
Show
Switch Detail View.
Link / Unlink
Link or unlink the DataSet. See Linked and unlinked DataSet files for an explanation.
Switch to absolute paths / Switch to relative paths
The sound files can be linked using absolute or relative paths (see User_Guide/Project#Relative_paths}.
